Where are dog&boy designs made?

The spirit of our children's future is a strong motivator for dog&boy, so ethical sourcing and processes is a priority.

Like dog&boy, our fabric print supplier, who we have worked with since launching dog&boy, is a boutique family business based in Hangzhou, China where the most premium-grade silk, wool, cotton, and cashmere are milled and manufactured globally, including nearly 100% of all Australian wool and cotton.

We visit our supplier every year to assess working conditions, oversee the printing process and to source new fabrics. Our factory is certified for its ethical and fair-trade practices.

By manufacturing at the source of fabric production, we minimise unnecessary production miles thereby reducing our impact on the environment and can then offer you, the customer, a premium product at an accessible price.

How do you print your designs?

dog&boy designs are printed onto premium-grade natural fibre fabrics using digital print technology.

Our supplier uses the most advanced digital print technology providing a superior quality and finish.

This digital print technology uses reactive dyes which are excellent for use on natural and cellulose (plant) fabrics and are eco-friendly. Digital printing is also cleaner, safer, and generally less wasteful, and less environmentally hazardous than analogue screen printing methods.

How is my dog&boy scarf packaged?

Your dog&boy design comes lovingly wrapped in our signature dog&boy packaging ready to give - to that someone you love, or just for you!

What are my payment options?

dog&boy accepts payment from Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and various instalment payment services. All payment options are displayed at checkout.

All transactions on dogandboy.com are charged in Australian dollars (AUD$). Price shown at checkout is the current FX rate of the day and does not include any bank or foreign exchange charges imposed by the customers banking provider. dog&boy is not liable for any of these charges.

I want to exchange/return my item

We want you to love your dog&boy design, however, if it’s not love at first sight when you receive your item we are happy to assist with an exchange or return.  

All exchanges and returns are processed via our online returns system here.

Unless an item is faulty, you are responsible for the postage costs for refund or exchange. dog&boy are not responsible for any return item until received by us, and we, therefore, recommend a registered tracking mail service.

dog&boy are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

EXCHANGE

You can exchange an item via our returns page here and follow the prompts.  

We will gladly offer a refund on full-price items within 14 days of delivery (30 days for international orders).

You are responsible for the return postage costs to exchange an item. dog&boy are not responsible for any return item until received, and we recommend a registered tracking mail service to ensure secure delivery.

RETURN/REFUND

No refunds on sale items. We are happy to exchange for you.

We will gladly offer a refund on full-price items within 14 days of delivery (30 days for international orders).

To process your return, go to our returns page here and follow the prompts. Returned items not submitted via our returns page will not will be accepted or processed for exchange/refund.

Unless deemed faulty, returned items must be unused, unworn and unaltered, with original packaging and all tags attached. Any returned item that is damaged, worn or altered will not be accepted.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will advise you by email. Refunds are processed to the same method of original payment and will be processed within 5 - 7 working days after approval.

Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

 

FAULTY ITEMS

It's rare that it happens, but it does happen! We want you to feel confident and happy with your purchase from dog&boy we will assist you with return/exchange on any genuine faulty items.

To report and return a faulty item, please process via our returns page here. You will need to provide some photo images to help explain the fault.

We will review the item and where possible repair and return the item to you.

Any postage costs associated with a faulty item will be reimbursed by dog&boy.

Shipping

dog&boy ships for free worldwide*.

If you are located in a gorgeous but slightly out of the way corner of the world and want to ensure you can receive delivery, please email dog&boy before you place your order.

All dog&boy deliveries are tracked to the shipping address location. The customer is responsible to ensure the shipping location is a safe and a secure place. Signature on delivery is available at an additional cost at checkout.

DOMESTIC ORDERS (AUSTRALIA)

dog&boy provides free standard shipping with tracking for domestic customers.

Express shipping and signature on delivery is offered at checkout at an additional cost.

Orders are shipped next business day in most instances. Australian orders are usually delivered within 3-7 working days (from time of order), and international orders usually 14-28 working days (from time of order). Should your item not arrive within these estimated delivery times, please email dog&boy quoting your order number.

We use Australia Post (domestic and international) standard shipping service. Upon dispatch, you will receive an email confirmation which includes a tracking number.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

dog&boy ships worldwide for free on orders over A$110*.

Orders under A$110 are A$25 for trackable shipping. Express shipping and signature on delivery is offered at checkout at an additional cost.

Shipping for international orders does not include any duties or taxes that may be applicable in the country of delivery address. Responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed are the customers responsibility.

dog&boy will not be liable for the loss or damage to any parcel tracked and delivered by its shipping provider.

How do I wash my dog&boy scarf?

The pure natural fabrics used in dog&boy scarves will soften the more you wear.

These premium natural fabrics, whilst relatively robust, do need to be treated with love and care to ensure longevity. Keep your scarf away from sharp objects or rough surfaces as this will pull the fabric weave.

The pure natural fabrics dog&boy are easy care.

Silk/cotton scarves are best hand-washed in cool water with a gentle detergent, rolled in a towel to remove excess water (do not wring) and hung to dry in shade. They can also be dry-cleaned.

Dry-cleaning is recommended for our 100% Australian Merino wool scarves.

Do not bleach or tumble dry your scarf. Iron on a medium setting under a cloth for all fabrics.

Product Information

Our photoshoots take place in mostly natural light to ensure product colours are reflected as accurately as possible.

However, due to factors such as differences in monitors and screen settings, we are unable to guarantee that the colour you will see on your monitor will accurately reflect the true colour of the product.

We only manufacture pure natural fibres. These pure natural fibres may contain irregularities in the weave. These are an integral part of the fabric and are not considered defects.
